FD-DVS PCA-1 \ 10U

Culture containing Penicillium candidum․  The strains may be used on soft cheese with lactic features, camembert/brie types, Tomme, UF soft cheeses. Freeze-dried cultures should be stored at -18°C or below. Recommended dosage: 10 units/ 2000 l milk. PCA-1 culture is an essential ingredient in the ripening process of white mold cheeses for its role in coloring the surface of the cheese, and contributing to the flavor and texture, as well as protection against contaminants. Agitate the mixture for 10-15 minutes to distribute the culture evenly.
