Cork-producing German company Henrich Gultig with AgriConcept CJSC organized “The Importance of Corks in Winemaking” on April 22.
The course was conducted by German winemaker Rainer Ruettiger. He described the whole process in detail, starting from the creation of cork to its utilization particulars.
In addition, Mr. Ruettiger expounded on a number of important issues, such as the correct choice of corks, storage, temperature, and shelf-life issues.
